Before your products go into production, we need a high-resolution file that matches the artwork displayed on your product.
It is essential that the original, unedited image of your work is high-resolution as anything lower will appear blurry upon print.
Photograph your work with a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera (shooting in RAW) to assure great quality and proper sizing. We suggest you use a tripod as it prevents the camera from shaking and producing an out-of-focus or blurry image that cannot be used.
Prior to uploading your file to our high-resolution uploader at http://studio.shopvida.com, please make sure that the image is at least 300 DPI and your file is saved as a JPG/JPEG or PNG.
Do note that VIDA reserves the right to make necessary changes such as placement, tiling, and other image alterations to artworks submitted.
If you need to crop your image or change your file type, we recommend using pixlr.com, a free online image editor.
For instructions on how to use Pixlr to achieve this, follow the tutorial below.
Step 1:
To begin, let’s make sure we’re working on the part of the photo that’s actually being used in production.

For example, if Figure A were going into production, we would need to crop the original photograph to make sure only that area will be printed. See how that area is selected and ready to be cropped in Figure B.
To crop the selected area simply press "enter" on your keyboard (we highly recommend that you add a 2-inch allowance on all sides).
**If the REUSE IMAGE option was used to create your product, it is best to upload the high-resolution file of your artwork in its entirety, as it will be saved for ALL products created with the same design.
Step 2:
Save your image in the "Recommended File Type" found in http://studio.shopvida.com/masteruploader (Figure C). For example, if you were creating a Men's Pocket Square, you would save the file as a JPG/PNG.

Go to “File” then click “Save.” This will open a new dialogue box -- select which format you would like to save your file in. See Figure D.

Once the file type has been selected, press “Ok,” and the file will be saved to your computer in the correct format.
Step 3:
Upload the image to your VIDA Design Studio at http://studio.shopvida.com.
